Justina Akiko combines the power of music with advocacy to inspire others and shining a light on invisible disabilities and learning differences. A two-time member of the New Mexico All-State Choir, she is recognized among the top high school vocalists statewide.

In July, 2025, she performed for an audience of more than 500 at the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Conference, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
